Danuta Przywara praised by Moscow Helsinki Group
We are happy to announce that Danuta Przywara, President of the HFHR Board, has been awarded a diploma in recognition of her support provided to the Moscow Helsinki Group.
The award-giving ceremony took place on 12 May in Moscow during the celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Moscow Helsinki Group. The justification of the award read that Danuta Przywara made a personal contribution to support the activity of the Moscow Helsinki Group and the Russian human rights movement.
“I am deeply moved by this award, because our friends from the MHG always have been role models for us. Today, when their work is celebrated, let me strongly emphasise that – regrettably – despite the 40 years of the Group’s work, we still need to keep a watchful eye on human rights situation in Russia”, said Danuta Przywara.
Madame President, please accept our congratulations!
