FUTURE DOCS kicks off!

FUTURE DOCS is a new European project of the WATCH DOCS festival, a platform of creative meetings for inspiration-hungry documentary filmmakers and human rights activists with a first-hand knowledge of both human rights problems and initiatives, and fascinating human background stories.

FUTURE DOCS aims to bring about new documentaries with powerful social impact. FUTURE DOCS is one of the 11 winners of “Advocate Europe”, an annual idea competition for innovative European initiatives and projects realised by MitOst e.V. and Liquid Democracy e.V., and funded by Stiftung Mercator.

All European documentarians and human rights advocates who would like to become involved in the project may apply online at the FUTURE DOCS’s website.
