March’68 commemorated by letter from Poles to Jews

“There are millions of people in Poland who care about the Polish-Jewish dialogue and the truth about our common history. We are writing to you as friends. We’d like you to know that were are around – in Poland and in every place we are connected not only by history and ancestry but also by the presence and future we share”, wrote the HFHR in an open letter signed by more than a hundred of Polish NGOs.

The signatories called for unity around the truth about the times of the Holocaust. As they noted, both nations can only return to the path of reconciliation by embracing truth and solidarity.

The letter is available for reading here.
