MoI: refugee applications of Ukrainians are thoroughly reviewed

“Due to a complicated and difficult situation in Ukraine refugee applications made by Ukrainian citizens are subject to a very thorough review on a case-by-case basis”, stated the MoI in response to the HFHR’s letter concerning the situation of Ukrainian refugees.

The MoI also revealed that it examined the possibility of resettlement of a given person within Ukraine. According to the Ministry, support is also provided to persons who have left the war zone but are still staying in Ukraine.

The MoI informed the Foundation that the services subordinate to the Ministry will be carefully monitoring the situation in Ukraine and will be poised for allowing a greater number of people seeking protection to enter Poland. Also, they will be quickly adjusting their priorities to the changing circumstances.
