Professor Irena Rzeplińska awarded with Order of Polonia Restituta

President of the Republic of Poland decorated Irena Rzeplińska, a Professor at the Institute of Law Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences and a founder and supervisor of the HFHR’s Programme of Legal Assistance for Refugees and Migrants, with the Order of Polonia Restituta (Officer’s Cross).

Professor Rzeplińska was awarded the presidential Order in recognition of her exceptionally important contribution to the development of a civil society in Poland and for her achievements in professional and social work, contributing to the country’s public welfare.

The Order was awarded during the 7th National Forum of Polish Non-Governmental Organisations’ Initiatives.
