Human rights of persons deprived of liberty – report

Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights decided to present its observations on the current situation of persons deprived of liberty in Poland. We hope that this submission will constitute a reliable source of information. At the same time, we would like to emphasise that we do not attempt to present a comprehensive analysis of the situation of persons deprived of liberty, but only to give examples of the issues and areas in which the Foundation has intervened or presented its position in the period following the previous visit of the The European Committee for the Prevention of Torture and Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment (CPT).
