“Do It Yourself” – organize your own screening

“Do It Yourself” is a new WATCH DOCS. Human Rights in Film International Film Festival project as part of which seven documentaries presented at previous editions of the festival can be made available to any person or institution in Poland interested in organizing a free public or private screening followed by a debate or discussion.

Films selected to the project are accompanied by educational materials containing a brief presentation of facts, relevant human rights standards, as well as scripts that can be used to organize a debate and guidelines for a discussion moderator. Discussion handouts has been prepared by the Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights experts and methodologists.

HOW TO ORGANIZE A SCREENING

To organize a screening, all you need to do is to fill in an application form. After the receipt of your enquiry, WATCH DOCS team will contact you to share a Vimeo link or discuss the details of the DVD shipment. After the screening and discussion, please remember to fill in a brief evaluation form. It is also a requirement for organizing subsequent screenings.

WATCH DOCS DIY screenings can be organized in Poland only.
